Mansfield resident Michelle Cloud is organizing a charity golf tournament to raise funds for the Dallas-Fort Worth Brain Tumor Walk and one of their teams - Miracle Mike.

The event will be held at the Mansfield National Golf Tournament in Mansfield, Texas on November 9 at 1 p.m. The tournament will be a four person scramble and registration is $75. Contact the club for more details at: 817-477-3366.

Family friend, Mike Heroux, “Miracle Mike”, has been battling brain cancer since May of 2013. His family became involved with the National Brain Tumor Society last year after his diagnosis. Michelle is hosting the golf tournament to help raise money for their team and to increase awareness of the disease.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Brain Tumor Walk connects brain tumor survivors, patients, family members, caregivers, and friends for an inspiring, family-friendly fundraising walk. Proceeds raised at the event go toward funding critical brain tumor research and raising vital awareness of the disease.
