Mansfield, Texas scores a touchdown with the opening of a Smoothie Factory Juice Bar® owned and operated by former Dallas Cowboys player Charlie Williams and his wife Sharonda. The store, located at 1681 East Broad Street, will offer nutritious smoothies, fresh-squeezed juices, nutritional products and more.

A grand opening event will be held March 7th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. with giveaways, former Dallas Cowboys players signing autographs, face painting and a performance from a local high school band.

Prior to opening a Smoothie Factory, Charlie played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1995 to 2000 before transitioning to a career in the construction business, and wife Sharonda worked in the insurance industry. After moving to Mansfield, the two were looking for their next career move when they saw the need for healthier options in their local community and decided Smoothie Factory was the perfect fit.

“As a professional athlete I learned about sports nutrition and saw firsthand the major impact that nutrition has on your physical health and well-being. After making the decision to alter my diet to include more un-processed foods, I saw a change in my energy levels and my practices were more productive,” said Charlie Williams. “I’m thrilled to open a Smoothie Factory to offer high-quality nutritional products to the community of Mansfield.”

Smoothie Factory is the brand for athletes and everyone who is trying to lead a healthier lifestyle, aiming for the cleanest recipes while giving customers the ability to customize their smoothie to their own preference. Juices are all natural, ice-filtered, and pressed fresh to order. The smoothie menu features whole fruits and vegetables, natural options for sweeteners, and vegan and non-dairy options.
