Memorial Day weekend is the traditional kickoff to summerbut it’s also an opportunity to recognize those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. On Memorial Day we honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

In honor of those heroes, and the men and women who served and are serving in our Armed Forces, Hawaiian Falls will offer free admission on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, for any active duty military personnel and veterans. Active duty and retired personnel can show their military ID card at the front gate. Veterans can show their DD-214 form or any state-issued photo ID with a “Veteran” designation. As always, kids two and under are free

“We owe our very freedoms to our servicemen and women,” said Hawaiian Falls Managing Director Ryan Forson. “In recognition of their sacrifices, and of those who went before them, we want to officially kick off the summer 2022 season by inviting them to come relax and enjoy the day at one of our waterparks on Memorial Day.”

Beginning Friday, May 27, the waterparks open daily for the rest of the summer. Hours for Memorial Day weekend are 10:30 am – 8 pm Friday, May 27 – Monday, May 30.

“We have special Hawaiian entertainment planned at all three parks for Memorial Day,” Forson explained. “Monday from 4 – 7 p.m., we’ll have Hawaiian greeters, Hula dancers, and steel drum performances.”

We’re excited for our guests to see the improvements we’ve made since last season. I know they’ll appreciate the shade and private cabanas we’ve added at all the parks.”
